Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the highest quality beef at affordable prices for everyone.
Caring Acres Farm came about from my husband Carl, who is a 3rd generation cattle farmer from Rennick, WV. We named the farm after the C in Carl (Caring), my name, April, thus the A (Acres), and the F stands for our love for our Family and Friends Forever (Farm).
The practices and management of our farm is the “old school way,” natural, simple and relaxed. We love and care for our animals, and they are checked a minimum of 2 times daily. Many of our cows are pets and can be hand-fed.
Caring Acres Farm cattle are all born and raised on our farm, eating grass and hay in our pastures, and our grain is of the highest quality and purchased locally. Our cattle are not raised in a feed-lot; they roam free in multiple pastures. We never use growth hormones or anything other than their initial vaccinations when the calves are born.
